Elaine was chosen for the HBO Access Writers Program and is a semi-finalist for the Sundance Episodic Lab. She has been a working actor for over a decade, appearing in such shows as S.W.A.T., NCIS: LA, 9-1-1, It’s Always Sunny…, Last Man Standing, and many more.
She turned to writing as a way to create more roles for herself, but then realized she actually LOVES writing, and has since placed highly in the Austin Film Festival (3 times), Final Draft Big Break (Top Ten), the PAGE Awards, and other screenwriting competitions. Her films have screened at Academy qualifying festivals, even winning the Grand Prize at the NewFilmmakers On Location Project (a $60K value). She is honored to have been named a Top 25 Screenwriter to Watch in 2019 by the International Screenwriters’ Association.
